Beverly Chestnutt
Beverly Chestnutt was raised in Clarksville and returned to serve the community after completing her education. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from George Mason University and her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Beverly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a distinguished career focused primarily on services for children and families.

Her professional experience includes child protective services, foster care, inpatient residential treatment on an eating disorder unit, outpatient children and family services with Southside Behavioral Health, and many years serving in alternative education and special education settings. In addition to her clinical and school-based work, she has served as an Adjunct Faculty Professor of Social Work at Mary Baldwin University.

Since retiring, Beverly has remained deeply committed to youth and family well-being. She continues to volunteer in various community roles, including serving as a FAPT member, participating in church mission ministry, and facilitating social-emotional groups at the elementary school level.
