Brian Holt

Brian Holt was born in New York City and raised in Elmont, Long Island, NY. He attended Sewanhaka High School and Dowling College where he studied Finance. He then went to work on Wall Street for 12 years as a broker and analyst for The Value Line Investment Survey, and its ancillary ‘Family of Mutual Funds’. He also worked as a broker, office manager and prospectus writer for Dreyfus Securities.

Brian then switched careers and founded and operated his own recording and TV facility (ESPStudios) for a number of years. He then sold the studio and toured the United States as a sound engineer and musician. After several years on the road, he returned to New York and worked as a recording engineer at Greene Street Studios, Firehouse Studios and Streetlight Studios.

He then moved temporarily to Raleigh NC, and subsequently to Los Angeles CA where he built a recording and video editing suite and worked on many films and television projects. He co-founded a company ‘Afterschool Films’ that specializes in family and educational entertainment and content.

Brian has now retired and relocated to Chase City Virginia where he has a hobby farm (Agwood Farm) with his wife Beverly Wood. He has retained many of his California clients and is in the process of further developing Afterschool Films.
